Tails and Amy finally parted from each other. For a moment they just looked at each other. "Well,what do you think?" She asked. "I think... we should do that again!!!" he tried to kiss her again but she held him back with her finger to his lips. Let's go back home,first." "Omigosh!" Cried Tails. "I never thought of that! What will everyone else think? What will sonic think!?" "Don't worry." Amy said as she brushed her hand across his cheek. "Does it really matter?" Tails thought for a moment. He finally replied, "No, it doesn't matter." Then they headed home.
"Hey, Amy." Sonic said without looking up from the TV, "Will you get me something to drink?" he looked up from the TV for a moment and gasped. Tails and Amy were still holding hands. Sonic fell off the couch. "You guys are in love?" Everyone else looked up at them. Tails blushed a bright red. "Tails, what are you doing?" asked Cream,s he was on the verge of crying. She and Tails had been going out for two weeks and she was quickly falling for him, however Tails just stated the fact, plain and simple. "Cream... we can't be together. I'm sorry but I don't share those feelings with you. They're just not there." Cream ran off to her room, crying. Then Sonic propped himself back up. "You guys can't be together!" He cried. "Says who?" Tails replied in a mock tone. "You? You don't love her!" He cried. "That's not true!" cried sonic. "I love her... but I was just afraid to tell her." Amy just stood there. Tails was afraid. He closed his eyes and tears began to well from them. "Will you leave me, Amy?" he asked, "Are we staying together?" "Yes." she replied, "we are staying together." Tails smiled the biggest smile he had ever smiled.
